Our last property to be sold was an 1898 chapel/residence with thirty-foot ceilings and a large stage in the living room. While many have expressed their appreciation for its unique beauty over the years, it was indeed very buyer-specific. (Not everyone wants 30 ft. ceilings and a large stage in their living room.) Michael created a fine brochure informing about the historic setting of the chapel and the neighborhood along with very fine pictures from many different angles. He also followed up on ALL suggested contacts we thought might be interested in its purchase, ranging from institutions to specific professional musicians who would appreciate its fine acoustics. When it became clear that another approach was needed he suggested that we have it staged in a contemporary fashion. Not only did he personally undertake the moving of all antiques and securing some quite heavy rugs, but he also split the cost with us of the staging along with the creation of new pictures. At all points, he kept us aware of all of the efforts being made to sell the chapel ranging from calls and appointments made to holding numerous open houses. There was follow-up with every person who expressed an interest. At the end of the day, we received a solid offer and while the purchasers did have a realtor, they quickly figured out that Michael was the one who could "make things happen" and the whole purchase process and move-out was done within a few weeks. We are indeed grateful to him and would recommend his services very highly without any reservations.
